By private car : From Hanoi, take the new highway to Lao Cai town and Lao Cai, then take Route 158 towards Bat Xat, Muong Hum and Y Ty commun.
By public bus : You take the bus from Hanoi at 07:30 or later at 08:00 to Lao Cai Trung Tam Bus Station (Central Bus Station) and then take the Hong Hoa Bus to Y Ty leaving Lao Cai Central Station at 13:00. There is only one bus per day from Lao Cai to Y Ty and this bus goes through the entrance to Y Ty Lodge.
